He led the company to be at the forefront of regulatory changes, launching its clinical consulting services to address the radical shifts in reimbursement introduced by the Skilled Nursing Facility Prospective Payment System and the Patient-Driven Payment Model. He has led the firm's M&A efforts with three acquisitions in the last five years and developed Hansen Hunter’s Independent Review Organization (IRO) functions. He also has provided critical support for clients in negotiations with U.S. Attorneys regarding Corporate Integrity Agreements.
A keynote presenter at industry seminars and state healthcare associations, Jeff has served on the payment committees in several states and developed financial forecasts and projections for Medicare and Medicaid. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oregon State University.
Lou oversees audit, review, and compilation engagements for senior living providers, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, and continuing care retirement communities. His analytical approach, industry knowledge and work across multiple states make him a trusted advisor to long-term care providers across the country.
He is also a recognized expert in HUD audits within the long-term care industry, providing specialized services such as financial projections, cost certifications, and loan evaluations. His deep understanding of industry regulations and financial reporting helps clients navigate complex compliance requirements while optimizing their financial strategies.
Committed to industry advocacy and professional excellence, Lou is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves on Oregon’s Continuing Care Retirement Community Advisory Council to the Oregon Legislature, contributing his expertise to policy discussions affecting senior living communities. Lou earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Portland State University.
Eddie has dedicated over 20 years to the healthcare industry, specializing in accounting, auditing, cost reporting, and reimbursement services. He has extensive experience in governmental audits and appeals, helping healthcare providers navigate complex financial and regulatory challenges.
Eddie leads Hansen Hunter’s work in supporting clients with financial services, including monthly accounting management and reporting, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care cost reporting, and litigation support. He represents clients in appeals and advises on financial strategy, rate projections, and other special projects. His work spans multiple states, ensuring clients receive tailored financial solutions that support their operational and regulatory needs.
Before joining Hansen Hunter, Eddie was a principal in the healthcare division of a regional accounting firm, where he led teams in financial management and compliance. He also served as a financial auditor for a national accounting group, gaining valuable expertise in financial oversight and reporting. Eddie earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Northridge.

As a leader at Hansen Hunter, she oversees teams specializing in back-office accounting, billing and collections, multi-state change of ownership licensure applications, Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement services, rate analyses, compliance reporting, and software integrations and transitions. She works closely with clients to develop customized solutions, leveraging her extensive industry network when needed.
Before joining Hansen Hunter, DeDe founded Synergy Healthcare Resources, a respected consulting firm that was acquired by Hansen Hunter in 2019. Over the years, she has built strong, lasting relationships with clients, lenders, vendors, legislators, state executives, and professionals across state and national healthcare associations. Her deep industry connections and expertise make her a trusted advisor in the long-term care community.
