DeDe has dedicated her career to providing financial, consulting, and reimbursement services to senior housing and long-term care owners and operators.
As a leader at Hansen Hunter, she oversees teams specializing in back-office accounting, billing and collections, multi-state change of ownership licensure applications, Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement services, rate analyses, compliance reporting, and software integrations and transitions. She works closely with clients to develop customized solutions, leveraging her extensive industry network when needed.
Before joining Hansen Hunter, DeDe founded Synergy Healthcare Resources, a respected consulting firm that was acquired by Hansen Hunter in 2019. Over the years, she has built strong, lasting relationships with clients, lenders, vendors, legislators, state executives, and professionals across state and national healthcare associations. Her deep industry connections and expertise make her a trusted advisor in the long-term care community.
Recognized as a leader in the field, DeDe is passionate about helping organizations navigate the complexities of the financial and healthcare regulatory landscapes. She understands the critical intersections of clinical operations, Medicare programs, and state-specific Medicaid reimbursement systems—insights that are essential to an organization’s financial health. She is also a dedicated advocate for education and training, ensuring that professionals stay informed about evolving regulations and best practices.
DeDe remains an active member of multiple national and state healthcare associations, where she serves on Legislative and Reimbursement Committees. DeDe earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Georgia Southwestern State University.
